Reviews and Ratings

Deborah Podurgiel - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

What a beauty! Brilliant medium-ruby in the glass. Lush on the nose with aromas of fresh cherry, rose petals, violets and cracked pepper that play over again and again. Dry, medium-bodied, elegant, velvety on the palate, with a graceful unveiling of tart cherry, ripe raspberries, white pepper, dried fine herbs, mocha flavours and a clean mineral and long sour cherry finish. Tannins are like a velvety glove -- a Pinot Noir to ponder by. So easy to enjoy on its own, but there is fresh acidity to pair it with rich dishes like roast Cornish game hens or quail. Decant one hour prior to pouring now or cellar for another three years.

Wine grapes were sourced from the winery’s Dry Creek Vineyard which has five different clones of Pinot Noir grapes. The grapes were fermented separately with punch downs three times a day, then aged in French oak barrels for 10 months.

This vintage was awarded Gold at the 2019 British Columbia Lieutenant Governor’s Wine Awards and Silver at the 2019 National Wine Awards of Canada.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
