Reviews and Ratings

Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

This reminds me more of a tight Gigondas than any CdR. Lots of gorgeously woven red and black briars with plum skin, herbs, graphite, loam, licorice, and boudin noir. Pair with grilled sausage or roast pork loin. 91 points. (www.ottawawinejournal.com)
Perry rated this wine as 90/100
From the Côtes Du Rhône, Fleur Du Palay Clos Du Palay (2015) is made mainly from a Syrah and Grenache red wine blend. The wine is elegant and complex with soft cherry, prune, blackberry anise. Shows a lot of promise and at a great price. - Community Wine Reviews

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
