Full-bodied with so much going for it. On the nose this gold Chardonnay is baked apple dumpling, pear compote, fresh pastry and lemon. Love this Niagara Chardonnay: voluptuous but balanced. Chardonnay that is the liquid version of worn-in jeans. Comfy, familiar, just right. Almost full-bodied, this tongue-loving, caressing white wine will be perfect tonight when you kick back with some buttered popcorn and an old movie.

Chardonnay food pairings: pan fried scallops, spinach and pepper jack stuffed chicken, toasted ravioli served with Alfredo sauce.

Reviews and Ratings

Lori Kilmartin WSET3 - WSET3 Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This Chardonnay is anything but "Rusty". A plush Chardonnay from the Twenty Mile Bench in Niagara, the "Rusty Shed" comes from their best vineyards and is aged in the best barrels from the winery. The result is a complex wine with multiple layers. Aromas of vanilla, butter and peach. White stone fruit and some citrus on the palate. Medium to full bodied. Smooth and creamy mouthfeel and a long oak finish. Tasted July 4, 2018.
Gwen Barton rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Perfect for lovers of oaked Chardonnay. Golden yellow, med-full bodied with pleasant acidity. Pronounced notes of baked apple, vanilla and toasted nuts. Smooth mouth feel with long finish. Pair with lobster mac’ncheese. Tasted July 2018
