Reviews and Ratings

Lori Kilmartin WSET3 - WSET3 Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

A lush California Pinot from Santa Rita Hills. Very aromatic; dried sweet cherry, cranberry, spice and dusky forrest floor. Medium body with flavours of ripe cherry, blueberry and a hint of black pepper. Plenty of ripe fruit which hints at sweetness - but only 2 g/l of sugar. Long black cherry finish!
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Lovely! Aromas are slightly earthy, with tart cherry and cranberry and a hint of leather. Nice, bright acidity on the palate, with a sweet woody cedar note, some tart, but leaning towards ripe cherry, and a hint of leather and warm earth on the finish. Enjoy with roasted pork or seared duck breast.
From Santa Barbara County Fess Parker 2016 Pinot Noir is a medium-bodied silky PN with ripe red berry, cherry, dried herb and underbrush flavours on the palate. Elegant with a lingering mineral finish. Enjoy now and for the next three years. - Community Wine Reviews
