Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Lovely vibrant colour and tons of flavour! Aromas of cherry, strawberry and rhubarb. Medium bodied, dry but with a hint of sweetness, and medium+ acidity. Vibrant fruit on the palate, and a nice length to the finish. Enjoy with grilled pork tenderloin or BBQ pork ribs.
Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Featherstone's Rosé is loved by many each year given its expressive and refreshing style at a terrific price. The 2019 vintage blends Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Gamay Noir, and Merlot, sourced from Niagara Peninsula, highlighting the fragrant sweet and refreshing berry fruit that makes this such a quenchable wine to enjoy in the summer sun. Cherry, strawberry-rhubarb, a hint of sweet Watermelon, and fragrant herbs all in a dry and palate cleansing style making it not only a great patio sipper but also a super versatile wine to pair with charcuterie platters, cedar plank salmon, spicy Asian cuisine, and BBQ fare. Tasted June 2020. 89 points. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca
From the Niagara Peninsula wine region, Featherstone 2019 rosé is a vibrant and juicy blend of Cabernet Franc, Gamay and Merlot red wine grapes with ripe raspberry, strawberry, cherry, melon and fine herb flavours and a lemon zest finish on the palate. Produced by winemaker David Johnson, named Ontario Winemaker of the Year at the 2019 Ontario Wine Awards. Pair with rich cheeses and roasted Mediterranean vegetables. - Community Wine Reviews
