Reviews and Ratings

Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

There's lots of concentrated red fruit in this light and refreshing Pinot Noir from the Aconcagua Valley. This red wine was aged 12 months in 2nd and 3rd use French oak barrels. The vines are young and this is only the third vintage for Errazuriz Pinot Noir and it's a beauty. Strawberry, raspberry, toast, pepper, and an earthiness. The tannins are smooth and acidity refreshing. The winemaker suggests this wine could age in your cellar another 9-10 years. This is a lovely, elegant Pinot. Pair with planked salmon, turkey with stuffing, cheeses, or on it's own.

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A bright ruby Pinot Noir from the Aconcagua Costa region of Chile. The nose gives lovely notes of ripe strawberries, vanilla, subtle oak and a touch of smoke. The palate shows ripe red berries, earthy, smokey, forest floor elements from 12 mos. spent on French oak. The aromas and palate blossom beautifully, giving more pronounced strawberry fragrance and flavours. A terrific PN to savour slowly before and throughout the meal.
Douglas McMillan rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

A nice blend of old a new world styles in this Pinot Noir, giving it subtle aromas of candied cherry, strawberry, new leather, and a slight earthiness. The palate is smoky strawberry and blackberry with some young tannins that are well integrated. The oak used for this wine is second and thirst use French oak, for a very subdued nature. A nice wine for roast pork with mushroom sauce.
