A full-bodied Pinot Noir, with cherry aromas and racy, mouth-watering acidity makes this wine very food friendly. Finishes with notes of cranberry, sour beet root and wild raspberry. Pair with seafood and roast chicken.

Pinot Noir food pairings: beef bourguignon, planked salmon, roasted turkey, mushroom terrine.

Reviews and Ratings

Rachelle O'Connor rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Soft cherry and raspberry aromas with lots of lip smacking deliciousness - earth, plum, cherry and baking spice - great acidity, silky tannins and a lingering cherry finish.
Paul Lupinacci rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

A wonderful Pinot Noir with cherry aromas. A silky smooth texture with flavours of cherry and cranberry on the palette and a pleasant middling finish. Overall, a very well balanced Pinot with soft tannins. Great with chicken or turkey.
Elk Cove (2014) is a robust, dark ruby Pinot Noir from the Willamette Valley in Oregon. Lots of ripe red berry notes on this balance and elegant Pinot Noir with velvety tannins. - Community Wine Reviews

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
