Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

From the beautiful island of Crete, Greece, this crisp, dry white shows herbal, licorice, smoky and fruity elements-bright and delicious. Enjoy with grilled white fish or shellfish.
Tasted Jan. 2017
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Lovely and interesting. Aromas of lime, green melon, honey and anise. Medium bodied with bright acidity, lemon zest, and an herbaceous finish. Enjoy with citrus vinaigrette salads or fresh shellfish.
Stephen Andrews reviewed this wine as follows:

Tasted July 27th 2017, colour deep yellow gold, medium legs, aromas and flavours of green mango, lemon and grapefruit peel, perfume, complex aromas. Taste dry, medium plus mouthfeel, mouthwatering, flavourful. I drank this wine with a Greek salad and the match was very good. (No lettuce in the salad, use good feta) going to buy more of this good value.
From the Crete wine region in Greece, Douloufakis Femina (2015) is made from 100% Malvasia di Candia Aromatica, a grape that has been around since the 14th Century and grown exclusively on Crete. - Community Wine Reviews

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
