Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A dark purple red wine from Argentina made from organicically grown hand-harvested grapes; 85% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Malbec. The nose gives aromas of black currant, tobacco and leather. The palate shows flavours of ripe raspberries, mineral, toast and mocha. Fine tannins. Long finish with hints of mocha.
14.5% XD Great with Beef Shortribs in Chimichurri.

The Domaine Bousquet Cabernet Sauvignon Reserva 2012 features dark berry fruit in the nose and palate. Pair with beef or strong cheeses! (84/100) Tasted October 27, 2014
The vineyards are located 1,200 metres above sea level in Argentina. The vineyard is certified organic. This is a blend of 85% Malbec, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Merlot, and 5% Syrah, all aged 10 months in French oak. - Community Wine Reviews

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Rex Pickett, Sideways

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
