Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Clear garnet red with flavours of ripe cherries, lavender and garrique. Extra dry with good acidity, very food-friendly, long herbal/cherry finish.
Melanie Aubert rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This incredibly versatile red goes well from anything from beef stew to salty asian-inspired dishes. It is easy to drink on its own as well. Medium-bodied, good acidity, cherry, blackberry, black currant, plum and a hint of cedar and licorice. Smooth and soft.

A pleasant Southern France red wine blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Carignan and Syrah/ Medium(+) bodied with aromas and flavours of fresh cherries, cassis, floral, earthy and a little meatiness. Bright acidity and smooth mouthfeel. Good economical points. Enjoy with red meat and assorted cheeses.
Tasted: January 2016
The vines for this Provencal wine are planted around the village of Puyloubier, 25 kilometers from Aix-en-Provence. This wine is a blend of Grenache Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Carignan and Syrah grapes. Deep purple hue in the glass with aromas of black currant, cassis and dark spice. Serve with hard cheeses. - Community Wine Reviews
