Reviews and Ratings

Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

This Semillon/Sauvignon Blanc blend has pronounced cat pee on the nose. Interesting herbalness on the nose as well that carries to the palate. Smooth mouthfeel with good balance and a medium + finish. Would go great with grilled fish, watercress salads, spring vegetables. Tasted June 2019. www.thewineloverskitchen.com
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Lots of expected New Zealand Sauvignon blanc flavours. Aromas include tinned peas, green grass, lemon and fresh herbs. Light bodied and vibrant on the palate. Enjoy with freshly grilled asparagus, or grilled artichokes.
Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Herbaceous nose featuring asparagus, boxwood, kernel, and corn notes. Extra dry and quite crisp with a medium body. Finishes with citrus flavours and a slight bitterness. Natural match for chicken or salmon dishes with cream sauces, or goat cheese and crackers.
Deep Woods Ivory 2018 is a white Meritage blend of Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc wine grapes from cooler-climate Margaret River wine region in Western Australia. Julian Langworthy is the head winemaker at Deep Woods, and was also named Winemaker of the Year (2019) by James Halliday. Look for bright citrus, honey, fresh hay and cut grass aromas on the nose, coupled with vibrant acidity on the palate. Pair with grilled chicken or fish tacos. - Community Wine Reviews

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
