Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Great BBQ wine! Aromas of red cherry, raspberry, leather, black pepper and a smoky hint. Bright fruit on the palate, slightly spicy and a medium-long finish. Enjoy with BBQ pork, veggies, or anything else you want to throw on the grill.
Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

From Deep Roots Winery in the Naramata Bench region of BC's Okanagan Valley. A pale translucent delicate purple coloured Gamay with vibrant aromas of raspberries, blueberries, stoney minerals and smoky leather. Herbal elements are also peeking through. Flavours are juicy, plush and youthful featuring sour cherries, blackberries and salt sprinkled plums at the back. Tannins are delicate but apparent in this silky light bodied red wine. This would be a suitable pairing with balsamic glazed pork, veggie stir fry or chicken. - tasted July 2018
