Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Aromas of dark plum, cherry, and mocha, with a hint of spice and cedar. Full bodied on the palate, with some slightly dry tannins, lots of ripe fruit, and a more cedar and herbaceous notes on the finish. Enjoy with BBQ meats. Great value wine!
Wineboy rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Amazing value. Loads of flavour of berries, berries and berries along with a spicy pepper note reminicient of the French style. Not complex beyond those two elements but the power for the price is amazing.
Pam Hatton rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Deep purple with tons of berries and some cedar on the nose. Medium bodied with light tannins. Cherry and blackberry on the palate with hints of leather. Medium long finish. Great value with Old World style.

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
