Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

A mainly Tempranillo blend made from hand-picked grapes. Dark garnet red with a fragrant nose of ripe dark cherries, leather, vanilla and oak. The delicious palate repeats with touches of dried herbs, mocha and a hint of smoke. Dry, well-integrated mouthfeel and a long elegant finish. Aged in oak min 1 yr.
Lynn van der Linde - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

I love that bourbon aroma that you get from a good Rioja! This aroma is brought about by the American oak barrels used in the making of this wonderful wine. Cherries, vanilla and black pepper are also present aromatics, which carry through in the mouth, with present tannins, making this a brilliant wine with beef burgers.
This Spanish red wine is a blend of 85% Tempranillo and 5% each of Garnacha, Mazuelo and Graciano grapes. It is very tannic and acidic. - Community Wine Reviews

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
