Tania Thomas - CSW, WSET ADV rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

Another great County Chard crafted by Closson’s new winemaker Keith Tyers. Full bodied and dry with great depth and complexity. Creamy brioche mingles on the tongue with aromas and flavours of ripe stone fruit and lemon zest. Crisp acidity with a graceful touch of that unmistakable County minerality. Closes in a lingering, buttery-toast-tinged finish. Perfect companion to a succulent lobster dipped in butter-garlic sauce. Tasted March 2017. Tania Thomas – www.taniathomas.com
Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

A rich Chardonnay tasted at the Closson Chase En Primeur tasting. Delicious white tree fruit, tropical fruit, citrus lemon, vanilla and touch of smoke aromas lead to a very balanced, smooth, creamy palate and elegant finish. Hard to put down. Enjoy, enjoy!

Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

A stunning offering from the County, the 2014 Vineyard Chardonnay features loads of ripe golden apple, preserved citrus, honey, pressed yellow flowers, lanolin and beeswax. It has reached its maturity, and would be a pleasure to drink alongside freshwater fish in a citrus beurre blanc. 93 Points.
Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

This is a "bet you can't stop at one glass" Ontario Chardonnay. Bright County acidity mingled with stony minerality and burnt matchstick. Terrific body and structure hoisting ripe tree fruit, blossoms, toasted oak and butter. Richness beyond imagine. Pure indulgence. Love it!! Long mouth coating finish. Bring on the seafood supper.

Closson Chase Vineyard (2014) is a very pleasing Prince Edward County Chardonnay with a honeyed apple and toasty nose. Full-bodied and rich, this Chardonnay could easy match a lobster and garlic butter dish. In fact, it would be delightful. - Community Wine Reviews
