Reviews and Ratings

Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Lovely! Medium ruby colour with deep staining tears. Aromas are rich with dark ripe strawberries, dark plums, black cherry, dark chocolate and leather. Flavours are defined and pronounce spicy light skinned plums, cocoa and pepper. It finishes very clean. Medium plus aromas, medium minus body and medium tannins and finish. Paired with herb rubbed lamb, pork tenderloin and medium bodied cheeses.

Rachelle O'Connor rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Beautiful bouquet of red fruit, mocha, earth and leather. The palate is consistent with a notable Margaux character and elegantly refined with persistent flavours of raspberry, cherry, blackcurrant, plum, spice, mocha with a hint of dried herbs. The tannins are firm with a tinge of spice on the finish. Tasted January 2018.
Château Mongravey (2014) is a Full-bodied, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot Cru Bourgeois from Margaux in the Bordeaux wine region. "Cru Bourgeois" is a quality classification term for red wines produced in the Médoc, which is on the left bank region of Bordeaux. If this term in on the wine label it means the wine has been examined and certified as having high enough quality and taste characteristics to qualify as a Cru Bourgeois. - Community Wine Reviews

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
