Reviews and Ratings

Lori Kilmartin - WSET3 Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

This little gem was obviously hidden away for a few years. Not all wines are meant to be aged but I'm happy to say this one has fared well by being tucked away for about 15 years. Still very much alive with plenty of fruit. Lychee was the dominant aroma along with some mint and peach. Off dry with flavours of dried fruit and a hint of nuttiness. Tasted June 1, 2017
Cherie Cole rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

This wine is still showing impressive aromas and flavours of lychee, mineral and peach. Light to medium body with balanced acidity. If you happen to have a bottle of this vintage in your cellar, I recommend opening it and enjoying every last drop. Tasted June 01, 2017.

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
