Reviews and Ratings

Pamela Chiles rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

A lovely, gentle, everyday Pinot that will go well with a variety of food. Soft mouthfeel full of ripe cherry and a nice savoury character with hints of earth and dried herb. Enjoy with charcuterie, pizza, chicken and much more.
Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Good value! From Niagara on the Lake, Chateau des Charmes. This Pinot is a pale ruby colour with a light and fruity bouquet - red cherry, pale red plum, smoke, violets and an earthy touch of moss. Flavours are full and fair showing strawberries, blueberries, liquorice and a light dusting of cocoa. Medium plus acidity and tannins, with a medium minus body. This is dry, and has a grip at the back offering a flavour structured to pair well with smoked meat, grilled sausages and stuffed peppers. 88 points - tasted April 2018

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
