Reviews and Ratings

Melanie Lloyd - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This Sauvignon Blanc is fruit forward with aromas of ripe nectarines, crunchy green apple, lime and hints of pineapple, lychee, white flowers and honey.

It is tart on the palate with flavours of juicy stone fruit, honey, and lemon. Lovely!

Tasted January 2018
Château De Sancerre (2015) is produced by the conglomerate Marnier-Lapostolle that also makes Grand Marnier. The company owns Casa Lapostolle in Chile and Château de Sancerre. The 2015 vintage of the French white wine Sancerre is made from Sauvignon Blanc grapes. Always dry and zesty on the palate, look for lemon, lime juice goodness with gooseberry and some light straw and herb notes on the palate on this Sancerre. Pair with rich risottos, creamy seafood dishes and on its own. - Community Wine Reviews

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
