Gorgeous depth and richness and complexity in this French white wine produced by Famille Perrin. Get out of your white wine rut with this one: spectacular! Aromas of lychee, white flowers and pure dry peach essence. A classic blend of Marsanne, Viognier, Bourboulenc, and a splash of Clairette grapes. Pair with roast chicken.

Food pairings: grilled calamari, turkey dinner.

Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

A lovely fragrant nose on this elegant white blend. The palate is dewy and fresh, with pear, well-integrated oak, a silky mouthfeel and a long Asian pear finish.
Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

This brilliant ruby red blends 40% Grenache, 30% Mourvedre, 20% Syrah and 10% Consult into a bouquet reminiscent of a picnic in Provence. Fresh and dried savoury herbes de provence, red field berries, red currants. Full-Bodied, aromatic, well-balanced and ready to enjoy 2016-2024. This wine yields from a vineyard which shares similar soil and climate profile to Chateauneuf du Pape and offers great value. Pairs will with presence style vegetables, game and braised beef. @jonsteeves rated 91/100 tasted @VanWineFest 2016
The 2013 vintage of the Coudoulet de Beaucastel is spectacular! The grapes for this French white wine are planted just north of Beaucastel with similar soils. Winds cool the vineyards and preserve acidity. This is a blend of Marsanne, Viognier, Bourboulenc and Clairette grapes. - Community Wine Reviews
