Lovely tints of yellow straw in the glass. This exuberant BC white wine made from the aromatic Viognier grape offers notes of baking spice, tropical fruit, peach, and golden apple. This wine was fermented in concrete, which gives no flavour itself. The wine has a long, satisfying finish. The winemaker is Taylor Whelan. Pair with grilled chicken.

Viognier food pairings: spot prawns, mild curries.

Reviews and Ratings

Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

This is a gorgeous Okanagan viognier. Dry, with fresh green tropical fruit, apple blossom, peach. Medium plus bodied, well-balanced. Enjoyed paired with chicken quesadillas topped with sweet and spicy mango salsa. Tasted 2016 vintage in August 2017. 92 points. BespokeTastings
Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

A divine aromatic full-bodied BC Viognier. Crisp yellow apple, melon, pineapple, and mild lemon honey aromas followed by a mouthful of lasting scrumptious apple, apricot, citrus and ripe pineapple flavours. A delicious pair with New England seafood chowder. Tasted Aug 2017 by @sommsosa | bespoketastings.ca
