Liquid gorgeous year after year, Cave Spring delivers this late harvest Riesling for our drinking pleasure. Apricot peach blossom. Perfect for angel food cake and fruit-based desserts. The Riesling grapes for this dessert wine are picked later in the fall, well after those from the dry style table wine. The result is much more concentrated flavours and fruit sweetness like apricot preserves. Pair this terrific wine with blue cheeses and toasted almonds.

Riesling food pairings: spice cake, crème brûlée, fruit-based desserts, pastries, fresh field berries in cream.

Reviews and Ratings

Rachelle O'Connor rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

Peach, apricot, candied orange, apple, lemon, floral and honey on the nose and palate with an unmistakeable refined elegance on this late harvest Riesling attributed to the craftsmanship showing superb length with many lovely layers of rich flavors and overall complexity on this vintage. Consistent year over year showing top quality, very well done!
Melanie Lloyd rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Aromas and flavours of honey, apple, peach, candied pineapple, marmalade and truffle can be found in this lovely late harvest Riesling. This wine would pair beautifully with salty blue cheese or with sweet apple pie.

"Cave Spring, Late Harvest Indian Summer Select (2014) is liquid gorgeous year after year. This late harvest is apricot, plum and honey sweet with a touch of quince on the palate and zesty acidity to match. - Community Wine Reviews
