The 2014 vintage is showing well. A Lovely Sonoma County Chardonnay. A tidal wave of ripe pineapple arrives with its wonderful nose and offers a palate of plump pineapple, meyer lemon and a hint of vanilla. Medium-plus bodied, well-balanced, medium-plus acidity and fruit. Pairs well with lightly baked wild Alaskan salmon or a lightly seasoned quinoa and roasted vegetable salad. Tasted March 2017. 90 points. A fantastic Cali Chard offering great value. #BespokeTastings

An expressive Sonoma County Chardonnay that shows oodles of crushed pineapple with lemon drops, fresh exotic fruit, and sweet spice on the nose. Creamy texture with layers of refreshing tropical fruits, toasty bread, and a touch of vanilla on the palate. Soft and pleasant Chardonnay from Sonoma County. Some people really enjoy their big, roch Chardonnay. This one is leaning towards that style.
There's a fair amount of oak, but the wine is pretty approachable.
Medium lemon hues.
Aromas of lemon curd, baked apple, vanilla, piecrust, cream, and some toasty notes to the finish.
The flavours have tons of orchard fruit. Pear and apple, with some honey and more baked pastry, from the barrel time and lees aging (aging on top of dead yeast cells).
This soft, rich Chardonnay has some charm and would be fantastic with lemon-shrimp or a lobster roll.
