Reviews and Ratings

Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

Medium ruby with a purple shadow, this Merlot has a warm, inviting pronounced bouquet exclaiming: “cherry! stewed strawberry and plum skins!” Incredibly fruity and juicy. Flavours unfold showing bumble berry pie, blackcurrant and cassis. with lingering touches of grandpas’ cigar box and wine dipped chewing tobacco into the sweet finish. (9g/L) residual sugar. Medium acidity and tannins that meet a full welcoming body and a rich finish. Pair with lamb sausage. 86 points
Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

Tasted 2016 vintage in Nov 2017. Medicinal cherry aromatics and on the palate. 85 points.
