A deeply flavoured Spanish red wine. Aromas of smoke, graphite, anise and black plums on the nose and palate of this full-bodied, smooth Spanish red wine made from the country's iconic Graciano grape.

Graciano food pairings: thick stew of potatoes and spicy sausage, pan-seared venison with grilled asparagus and blue cheese-bacon mashed potatoes, grilled lamb steaks and spicy chorizo mash, lamb chops, smoked cheese.

Reviews and Ratings

Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Gorgeous, and accessibly priced. Great value. Full bodied, balanced, complex profile, medium fine tannins well integrated and grippy. Ripe blackberry, violet petals, anise, savoury. Pairs well with charcuterie or baked chicken wrapped in Serrano ham or a baked roasted vegetable lasagna. Tasted 2016 vintage in October 2018. 92 points. #Greatvalue
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Bold and smoky! Aromas of black plum, licorice, smoke, leather, and graphite. Full bodied and smooth with bright acidity, bold dark fruit flavours, and smoky, leathery hints on the finish. Enjoy with marinated, grilled beef kebabs.
