Reviews and Ratings

Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Garnet coloured. Smokey and leathery on the nose, less so on the palate. Well balanced. Medium finish. Tasted April 2019.
Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Leads with fresh oak, sawdust, vanilla, and clove before fresh and ripe blueberry and some mild savoury herbs. Full body with medium tannins and bright acidity. Drinking well now, best in another one to two years. Ideal alongside pork roasts, chorizo, and aged cheeses.
Christian Marcoux rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Adorable Tempranillo from the Rioja valley in Spain, the 2015 Crianza from Baigorri, shows aromas of fig, dried blueberry, black pepper, mustard seed, pastrami, wood burner and cedar. The wine evolves throughout the palate with agreable balance and an elegant spice finish. Full bodied, the wine offers flavors of fig, raisin, dried leaves, cigar box and cedar. Enjoy!
Baigorri Crianza 2015 is a medium-plus bodied Grenache and Tempranillo red wine blend from the Rioja Wine Region. Dark cherry, cake spice and nutty flavours on the palate. Would benefit from cellaring for about three years to mellow bring out its best. This vintage was awarded Gold at the 2018 Mundus Vini Spring Tasting. - Community Wine Reviews

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
