A lovely, juicy Pinot Noir that was aged in French oak barrels. Aromas of fleshy ripe red and dark cherry.Smooth, supple and medium-bodied. Perfect for veal or risotto.

Reviews and Ratings

Deborah Podurgiel Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Arrowleaf Cellars Pinot Noir (2015) is a brilliant, medium ruby colour in the glass. On the nose the wine is rich with earthy, blue florals, wild mushrooms, savoury herbs and a flinty minerality. On the palate, the wine is dry, medium-plus bodied with flavours of dried cherries, red currants, savoury herbs, black tea, fresh wild mushrooms, underbrush, cedar spice and meaty finishing with a medium-plus length. Tannins are soft and approachable like a velvety cushion on the mid-palate. Good acidity for food. Beautifully balanced, cool climate, estate Pinot Noir. Easy to enjoy now. We paired it with a wild rabbit fricassee with cremini mushroom sauce and herbed dumplings.
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Really nice balance of fruit and savory notes on this wine. Aromas of cherry, cranberry, leather, smoke and spice. Rustic on the palate, savory and earthy notes come through with a little more cherry on the finish. Medium+ acidity and a medium to long finish. Enjoy this with pork tenderloin, or mushroom dishes.
