A pleasant, medium-bodied, smooth, easy-drinking New Zealand red wine made from Pinot Noir grapes. Aromas of black raspberry. Soft tannins. Grapes are sourced from closely planted vines and are low yielding on the winery's estate vineyards. Pair with planked salmon.

Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Delicious Marlborough Pinot Noir with a fragrant nose of cherry, raspberry, cocoa and baking spice, amplified on a vibrant palate giving dark chocolate and a touch of smoke, too. Dry, layered, medium-bodied. This is a whole lot of flavour in a glass.

Terry Jeans - Certified S rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A very pleasant pinot noir, at a very affordable price! It is a drinkable, light bodied wine, with lots of red fruit aromas and flavours. It has low acidity and next to no tannins, making it an easy sipper.
Pamela Chiles rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Bright cherry aromas pop, intertwined with earthy/stemmy/herbaceous/spice notes. Barely-there tannins and gentle acidity round out the experience. A nicely made Pinot Noir at a reasonable price, this will pair well with grilled chicken and salmon, obviously, but try it with a farro salad with cranberry, toasted pecan and balsamic vinaigrette.

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
