Reviews and Ratings

Lynn van der Linde - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

Gorgeous and enticing Nebbiolo from Piedmont region of Italy.
Fragrant bouquet of violets, cinnamon and raspberries carry through to a spicey fruit finish. Lots of mouthwatering acidity, perfect with pizza or spaghetti.
Tasted March 2018.
Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

So few Gattinara’s enter the Ontario market, but the ones that do are rarely a miss. This is a gorgeous and feminine expression of Nebbiolo, with lots of dark cherry, red plum skin, pressed purple flowers, baking spice and a minerally finish. There’s a hint of green coffee that emerges after decanting. 92 Points.
Anzivino (2010) is a made from the iconic Nebbiolo wine grape grown in the Piedmont wine region. The nose on this wine is fragrant with crushed raspberry, violets, dried herbs and cake spice. Decant for one hour prior to serving or this wine is also a perfect three- to five-year cellaring candidate. Pair with roast beef. - Community Wine Reviews

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
