A robust red with great depth and complexity at an excellent price point. Syrah add so much character to this blend with fleshy blackberries and cherries. It's full-bodied, balanced and smooth. Perfect for grilled meats and hard cheeses. Highly recommended.

Reviews and Ratings

Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Plum skin, black currants and blackberry compote wrap around a smokey core of tarred black cherries, gunpowder, candied violets and spice. This is a steak wine. 89 Points.
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Great value. Aromas of blackberry, cherry and a hint of cocoa. Full bodied, smooth tannins and lots of berry flavours on the palate with a bit of a smoky finish. Enjoy with grilled meats.
From La Consulta, Uco Valley, Mendoza, Alamos 2015 is a seriously deep and complex Malbec at an excellent price point. Syrah add so much character to this blend with fleshy blackberries and cherries. It's full-bodied, balanced and smooth. Enjoy now. - Community Wine Reviews
