Lovely toasted almond and freshly baked bread on the nose and palate of this full-bodied BC Chardonnay. Aromas of golden apple and white peach. Pair with roast chicken or turkey.

Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Love, Love, Love! There is a lot going on with this aromatic and flavourful wine. Notes of brioche, almond, lemon, and sweet apple, all mingled with the slightest hint of butter. Full bodied, medium+ acidity, buttery smooth, with flavours of apple, pear, lemon zest, and a hint of spice, with a warm finish. Try with your next roast chicken, but would also be spectacular with halibut or other white fish.
Deborah Podurgiel Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

50th Parallel Estate Chardonnay 2016 is dry and crisp with ripe golden apple, butterscotch, dried pineapple aromas on the nose; medium-plus-bodied, rich and so creamy on the palate with baked pear, ginger, nutmeg spice and a soft caramel finish. Vibrant acidity for food. Chill and enjoy with a lobster bisque or seafood chowder.

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
