Red Wine

Château Camplong Grande Réserve Corbières 2018, Corbières, Languedoc A.P., France: Château Camplong Grande Reserve 2018 is a medium-plus-bodied Syrah blend with cedar spice, ripe blackberry and fine herb aromas on the nose. Great value under $15, look for ripe blackberry, dark fruit, plum, chocolate, wild herb flavours on the palate balanced with lively acidity for food and chalky fine tannins. The Syrah grapes for this vintage were sourced from a mix of limestone, marl and sandstone soils in the Corbières. This wine region is also exposed to the cold, dry Mistral winds from the north and warm, humid southeast inflows from the Mediterranean. Enjoy with garlic and rosemary lamb chops from the grill. Food pairings: meat-lover's pizza, slow-braised blade roast, Coq au vin. Drink: 2020 - 2024 12990 14.7% D 750 mL $14.95 Score: 89/100. May 2021. Best Value Red Wine Full Review Add to Shopping Cart

White Wine

Michael David Chardonnay 2019, Lodi, California, United States: Michael David 2019 Chardonnay is pronounced with caramel, tropical and ripe stone fruit aromas on the nose. This Lodi Chard is full-bodied and mouth-filling with layers of fresh and ripe stone fruit and pineapple, caramel and vanilla flavours on the palate. A portion of the wine was barrel-fermented with the balance aged in stainless-steel tanks to maintain its fresh and vibrant fruit flavours. Chill and enjoy with farmers' pork chops from the grill. Chardonnay food pairings: grilled seafood, stuffed chicken, pulled pork. Drink: 2021 - 2023 396283 14.5% D 750 mL $26.95 Score: 88/100. May 2021. Full Review Add to Shopping Cart
