Red Wine

Tormaresca Torcicoda Primitivo 2017, Salento I.G.T., Italy: A full-bodied Primitivo, rich and smooth with black plum, blackberry, black raspberry, black cherry, dark chocolate flavours vibrant, full and smooth on the palate. Lush and luxurious. Wine grapes are organically grown and are sourced from two sites, the Maime Estate vineyards at San Pietro Vernotico, and from the Bocca di Lupo estate in Minervino Murge. The wine matured 10 months in small French and Hungarian oak barrels and a further eight months in bottle prior to its release. Primitivo food pairings: acorn squash apples and cabbage bake, stuffed zucchini with herbs tomatoes onions and garlic, stuffed baked tomatoes.
