Megalomaniac Pink Slip Rosé 2018, Niagara Peninsula, Ontario, V.Q.A., Canada: Megalomaniac Pink Slip Rosé is produced by John Howard Cellars of Distinction and is a bright and juicy rosé that with bright raspberry, ripe red cherry and savoury herb flavours on the palate. Don't give this wine the pink slip, instead, pair it with grilled, BBQ pork ribs. Rosé food pairings: lox and capers, grilled salmon steak, shellfish. Vignerons de Buxy Buissonnier Montagny 2017, Montagny, Burgundy A.C., France: A mouth-watering, unoaked Chardonnay brought up in stainless-steel tank. A lean and steely Burgundian Chardonnay steely made for raw oysters and grilled shellfish. Full-on lime-lemon zest, fresh apple and pear with mineral and chalky flavours (in a good way) on the palate. Elegant and balanced with bracing acidity for food.
