A full-bodied Gran Reserva Chardonnay lush with apple pie, tropical fruit, butterscotch and lemon pudding flavours on the palate. Wine grapes were sourced from the Leyda wine region and from the coastal Maipo. A portion of the wine was fermented and matured in oak barrel. Roast chicken please.

Chardonnay food pairings: grilled seafood, Caesar salad topped with grilled chicken breast, roast quail stuffed with wild mushrooms.

Santa Ema Gran Reserva 2018 Chardonnay is produced for a sustainably-farmed vineyard in the Leyda Valley wine region. A full-bodied Chilean Chardonnay with ripe stone fruit, pear, vanilla and nutty caramel flavours with a lingering tropical fruit note finish on the palate. Great roast chicken wine but would also be great with scallops or seafood pasta with a cream sauce. - Community Wine Reviews
