A refined and elegant wine from the Left Bank of Bordeaux, the Chateau Ducru-Beaucaillou, from Saint-Julien, offers a rare taste of a second growth from the original 1855 Bordeaux Wine Classification. Blended from 90% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Merlot, the 2013 vintage exposes a seductive bouquet of black cherry, black plum, black pepper, clay dust, dark chocolate, leather, spice and oak. Medium-bodied, the wine shows structure, seductive tannins and harmonious acidity. The finish is long and lingering, giving each sip a unique taste. Palate: cherry, blackberry, bay leaf, leather, dark chocolate, spice, smoke and oak. Amazing wine. Enjoy!
