Foreign Affair- known for its appassimento style has produced a lovely full-bodied cab sauv . Loads of oakiness on nose and in the mouth- leather, spice, chocolate, smoke ( I could go on). Big chewy tannins and a finish that lingers on for a long long while- 15.8% alcohol leaves you warm down to the top of your toes.... A hunk of blue cheese and a steak would be a great pairing.

Straw coloured with greenish hue (unfiltered). Dry white wine with rich, and very buttery, viscous mouth feel. Lovely tastes of pear, apple, minerality and nuttiness. Some racy acids add fun to this enjoyable wine!

Nice aroma of honey, lemon, pears and white flowers. Dry, but smooth mouth feel with notes of orange and tropical fruit. Some bitterness on the finish. Try with some spicy Thai.

Full bodied , perfectly balanced Bordeaux with lovely texture and layers. Dark cherry, plum, chocolate, sweet tobacco and floral aromas. Dark fruit and cocoa continues on the palate with slight smokiness. Tannins have some grippiness on the finish but will soften wonderfully after a few years in the cellar. Pair with steak and goat cheese salad. Tasted April 2017

Gorgeous! Lush, medium- bodied, Pinot Noir from Sonoma with lots of complexity. Vibrant, red berry aromas and flavours. Christmas spices and earthiness found in the finish. Well structured with refined tannins. Pair with mushroom risotto.
