Reviews and Ratings

Pamela Chiles rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Great value in this Greek wine - a blend of 3 traditional grapes. Bright ruby red with a cherry nose, some serious tannins and bitter chocolate on the finish. Fab with charcuterie or rare beef dishes.
Lori Kilmartin WSET3 - WSET3 Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

The Tsantali family has a long history of winemaking in Greece. This is a blend of three indigenous grapes from the slopes of Mt. Olympus in northern Greece; Xinomavro, Krassato and Stavroto. Light fresh cherry aromas and flavour. Medium body with tannins that are drying and medium acidity and finish. This wine spent 6 months in french oak barrels and underwent malolactic fermentation. Olivier de Maisonneuve rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Fun nose of cherry blossom,(the chocolate not the flower). The palate is simple but tasty and is a great i-had-a rough-day-now-but-now-it's-pet-the-cat-time wine. Patés and black olives platter companion
