A lovely, silky BC Pinot Noir. The grapes for this wine come from the winery’s Remuda Vineyard. Aromas of ripe barries and spice. Pair with veal.

Reviews and Ratings

Deborah Podurgiel - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Love this beautifully balanced, rich and elegant Pinot Noir from Township 7 Winery! A lovely, deep ruby in the glass, the Benchmark Series 2019 is dry, medium-plus-bodied, silky-smooth and mouth filling with dark cherry, ripe raspberry, earthy spices, dried herbs, and a hint of vanilla finishing long and savoury on the palate. Tannins are velvety and well-integrated. The PN grapes for this vintage were sourced from the winery’s Remuda Vineyard. Lightly chilled and enjoyed with a sirloin steak from the grill. Tasted August 2021.
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Beautifully balanced Pinot Noir with aromas of cherry, raspberry, and cranberry, along with hints of earth, warm spices and a slightly savoury hint. Medium bodied, smooth with some soft tannins and bright acidity. Berry flavours are rich and popping on the palate, and the finish is long with hints of mocha, spice, and just a slight hint of vanilla. Enjoy with pan-seared duck or any rustic mushroom dishes.
