Love the pink florals, ripe dark plum and toasty oak aromas on this 100% Tempranillo Crianza produced from grapes sourced in the Ribera del Duero at 900 metres above sea level. Full bodied and fresh with ripe dark fruits, smoked meat, cocoa, vanilla and toasty spice flavours on the palate.

Reviews and Ratings

Christian Marcoux rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Made from 100% Tempranillo, the Pago Del Cielo, Celeste Crianza 2017, from the Torres Familia, shows aromas of sour cherry, dried blueberry, mustard seed, black pepper, parmesan cheese, tobacco and cedar. Harvested in Ribera del Duero in Spain, the grapes were picked at close to 900 meters of altitude; hence the name Celeste. Round, with a warm finish, this full-bodied wine exposes suave tannins and flavors of sour cherry, blackberry, dried roses, pastrami, cocoa and cedar. Enjoy!
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Beautiful! Aromas of dark cherry, tobacco, cedar and a bit of black pepper. Full bodied, with bright acidity, and some medium tannins. Flavours on the palate include ripe cherry, mocha and tobacco with a hint of smoke and spice on the finish. Enjoy with hearty braised meat dishes.
Form the Ribera Del Duero wine region, Torres Celeste Crianza 2017 is a savoury Tempranillo produced from grape vines planted at 895 metres above sea level. The wine was aged in French and American oak barrels for 12 months. Beautifully fragrant on the nose with pink florals and spice, full-bodied and fresh with a mouthful of ripe dark fruit, spice, vanilla and smoky, aged wood flavours on the palate, Pair with barbecued lamb chops. - Community Wine Reviews
