In 1972, the Forty Creek distillery opened and more recently, was named Whisky Maker of the Decade at the Canadian Whisky Awards. We also have the Forty Creek Honey Spiced Whisky. It’s spiced but subtly sweet, so it hits the middle ground between bourbon and rye. Serve it with lemonade for a refreshing drink as we head into warmer weather.

Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Forty Creek has done it again, this time tweaking their tried and true whisky with the smooth kiss of honey. Hints of honey, warm spices, dried citrus notes, and also a touch of caramel make this a nice apperitif or evening sipper. Enjoy!
Craig Haynes - WSET3 FWS SWS IWS rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A consistent recipient of Canadian Whisky Awards, this creation from Canadian distiller Forty Creek will bring some spark to your whisky cocktails.

There's more the honey and spice happening here. Caramel, butterscotch, sweet vanilla, candied citrus, and toasted oak all make an appearance for our enjoyment. A satisfying combination. Cheers.
