Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Fresh and pretty! Aromas of pear, golden apple and a hint of lime. Slightly off-dry with crisp, mouthwatering acidity and vibrant lime and apple notes on the palate. Crisp and clean finish with hints of mineral and petrol. Enjoy with oysters or any fresh seafood.
Deborah Podurgiel - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Love the balance on Culmina’s tasty Decora 2018 Riesling. Produced from estate-grown grapes sourced from Margaret’s Bench Vineyard with elevage completely in stainless-steel tanks, this South Okanagan Riesling is fragrant with ripe yellow apple, white-fleshed stone fruit and mineral notes on the nose. The wine is barely dry, medium-bodied with pink grapefruit, citrus zest, ripe apple, stony and mineral flavours lingering on the palate balanced with just enough acidity to start the mouth watering. Sophisticated, elegant with acidity in check. Chill and enjoy with a smoked pork tenderloin and butternut squash spaetzli. Tasted July 2021.
Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Culmina’s Decora Riesling shows great variety characteristics with lively acidity and impressive minerality woven throughout. Crisp orchard fruit, petrol, and minerality in abundance making this wine wonderful with spicy Asian dishes, fried foods, and seafood. Enjoy 2020-2025. Tasted August 2020, 89 points.
