In 1999, as a result of the need to express their love and dedication to viticulture and winemaking, Susana Balbo and Pedro Marchevsky started this project together, renting facilities in others wineries of the region. Their undertaking developed and sustained solid growth, and in June 2001, they decided to build a new winery in the center of the District of Agrelo, in Lujan de Cuyo, Mendoza. Dominio del Plata Winery is located in the middle of their 21-hectare vineyard planted with Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. This new winery is equipped with the state-of-the-art technology.
