We appreciate your continued support. Alan, the winemaker, has been in the wine industry since graduating from U.C. Davis with an enology degree in 1988. Lilith works in the tasting room and marketing. The boys, Joel and Andy, help with bottling and odds and ends.
Two experiences enhanced my passion for wine and the stylistic possibilities. Firstly, for nearly 4 years, I managed the wine program at the highly acclaimed Canlis Restaurant in Seattle. The wine menu's breadth and diversity in domestic and international wines introduced me to a world of flavors I would otherwise not be able to afford. Secondly, as Director of Winemaking Operations of the Monterey Wine Company, I learned new techniques of winemaking from over a dozen high profile clients and from our own introduction of high technology approaches.
