Arbutus Winery makes rich, full-bodied red wines exclusively from grapes grown in Washington. All of our wines are handcrafted in limited quantities. We currently feature a rich and soft Syrah, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon as well as our bold signature blend made from grapes grown in top vineyards in Red Mountain and Yakima Valley.
Our winery is named after the Arbutus Menziesii (pronounced ar-BEW-tus men-ZEEZ-ee-eye) a leafy green tree found in Pacific North America. Also known as the Madrona or Madrone, this unique tree is characterized by a crooked, leaning trunk that divides into several branches twisting upright to form an irregularly rounded crown.
