Opinions about wine differ greatly as the experience is subjective. You may find it helpful to compare this critical evaluation of the wine with mine as well as your own:
Dan Trcka rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

The2011 Jackson-Triggs Reserve Series Chardonnay is a medium bodied wine with appealing notes of pear, subtle mint and green pepper, oak and faint vanilla (on the finish). It is well balanced; it needs to be opened for 30 min+ after which it has a perfectly oaky finish of medium to long length. This wine would go great with any crustaceans of your choice as well as being sipped by itself. My impression: BEAUTIFUL, 88-89 pts – would highly recommend this wine and for $10.95 is a steal. Tasted Oct/12.
Jason Solanki rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Screw top. Pear, orchard fruits and hints of barnyard from the glass. Medium-bodied with flavours of beeswax and pear. Dry. Well-balanced with bright acidity. Finish is long with spiced oak flavours and hints of vanilla. Tasted Oct/2012.
Corinna Horton rated this wine as 84/100 with the following review:

A robust chardonnay with a smoky finish and a bite of green apple. I am frequently surprised by the latest from Jason-Triggs, they have come such a long way since they were everyone's table wine.
Mark Britton rated this wine as 83/100 with the following review:

This chardonnay has obviously seen some time in oak as the creaminess and the vanilla come through prominently on the nose. Almost to the point of smelling like an aged whiskey with less alcohol. However the vanilla is very over the top and out of balance and after letting the wine sit it was all I could smell and taste.
Travis Oke rated this wine as 83/100 with the following review:

This is a good price point for Ontario chardonnay and one that you could be confident in bringing to a party. Lots of people will like it. I'm not an oaked chardonnay fan usually but I would serve it to friends who like the grape.
Nina rated this wine as 82/100 with the following review:

Lightly oaked Chardonnay. Very pleasing, fruity. Good balance of acidity. Creamy. Vanilla, stone fruit, little floral.
Sara Connelly reviewed this wine as follows:

Oak, vanilla, and butter with a stone fruit and lemon twang. An easy-drinking oaked Chardonnay.
Susan Desjardins reviewed this wine as follows:

Pale gold, this crowd-pleasing wine proffers a restrained nose of orchard fruit and vanilla. Dry, mid-weight, creamy in texture texture, flavours of buttered toast, ripe pear and apple unfold on the palate, framed by fine acidity, a touch of spice livening the finish. Nicely balanced and eminently quaffable, there`s great value and versatility here. Enjoy with pork chops or with Bothwell`s Madagascar Green Pepper Cheese, Upper Canada`s Comfort Cream, or Kootenay Alpine Cheese Company`s Alpindon.
The 2011 Reserve Chardonnay is a crisp and fruity white with flavours of fresh
pineapple, and vanilla, and has subtle notes of light florals on the nose.
