Reviews and Ratings

Kanzemer Altenberg 2016 Riesling Kabinett Prädikatswein is produced by Bischöfliche Weingüter Trier from the Mosel wine region. Look up, all the way up and you will see a wall of Riesling vines that rock wall climbers could harvest. Let's just say the vineyards are steep. In addition to great southern exposure, the vineyards are also protected from the cool winds with the Saar River moderating temperatures in the vineyards. The soils of the Kanzemer Altenberg are also diverse - gray-blue, brown Devonian slate and weathered river bed mixed in with fine earth. Fragrant on the nose with white florals, grapefruit mineral, ripe apple and pear flavours lush and weighty on the palate. Exotic and elegant. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
