Ryan Hindmarsh rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

All I can think of is that great but awful George Michael Gotta Have Faith video. It smells of leather jacket and dirty fruit. It’s tight like his jeans, so give it some time to breathe. But it’s catchy and smooth like his moves. Perfect with spicy BBQ ribs.

Mayu Reserva Carmenère 2007, Elqui Valley, Coquimbo, Chile: Cherry liqueur and blackberry jam: intensely concentrated and sweet fruit on the nose even though this is a dry wine. Full-bodied and smooth. Very big. Drink: 2011-2014. 90035 15% XD 750 mL  $14.95 Score: 87/100. May 14, 2011 Best Value Red Wine.  Full Review
