Interesting resin cork. Ripe raspberry, herbal spice aromas. Straightforward and uncomplicated Shiraz with gobs of red berries, along with cedar oak flavours. Chewy, ripe tannins. Medium-bodied. Good, easy-drinking AU Shiraz that I'll be enjoying with chicken meatballs in masala curry sauce. Tasted Feb/2012.

Red Knot Shingleback Shiraz 2008, McLaren Vale, Australia: Big, black, ripe fruit with generous toasty oak. A smoky, brooding wine that is ultimately satisfying, full-bodied and smooth. Perfect for pizza night, poker night, movie night or a night on your own. Drink: 2011-2014. 619395 14% D 750 mL  $17.95 Score: 89/100. June 6, 2011 Complete Cheese Pizza Wine  Full Review
