Natalie's Review

Babich Black Label Sauvignon Blanc 2008, Marlborough, South Island, New Zealand: Vintages Wine Panel: Classic Kiwi Savvy character dominates this finely made version. Look for sweet herbs, fresh-cut grass, asparagus and passion fruit aromas. Dry and crisp with a remarkable opulence, this will stand up to short-term cellaring or can be enjoyed now. My note: Classic grassy herbal, grapefruit, chives, lime and lemon aromas. Zippy acidity, no oak. 9142 13% XD 750 mL  $17.95 Score: 88/100. August 1, 2009  Full Review
