A pale ruby coloured Gamay with aromas of blackcurrant, smoke, toasted almonds and hints of gun powdered stony minerals with a strong vegetal character. Red bell pepper flavours show lots of smoky red berries, blackberry and toast with delicate earth elements. Light bodied with a medium plus body and brisk mouthwatering finish and silken tannins. A great pairing for smoked meat sandwiches and veggie mushroom pizza. - tasted January 2022
